Courtney Peterson MSW, LCSW

Hello! My name is Courtney Peterson, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

With over 20 years of social work and case management experience, I have worked in a large variety of settings. These include working with children who had emotional and behavioral difficulties in a day treatment setting, case management for elderly and physically disabled individuals, medical social work for individuals and families going through the hospice journey, and providing school-based and intensive in-home counseling services for kids and their families. I also have experience working with individuals with Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome/Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANS/PANDAS).

My Approach

I utilize a variety of different therapies, strategies, and perspectives, including solution-focused, existential, cognitive behavioral, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral, brainspotting, attachment, behavior, and mindfulness therapies.
