Hello, I'm Anna Adesso, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). My practice is dedicated to supporting children aged 4-12 and their families as they navigate the path to emotional well-being and stronger relationships. If your child is facing challenges such as anxiety, school-related difficulties, managing big emotions, coping with grief, or adjusting to life transitions, I am here to provide expert guidance and compassionate care.

My passion for working with children and their caregivers has been a guiding force throughout my life and career. As a mother of two and with over a decade of dedicated experience as a school counselor in the Appleton Area School District, I bring both heartfelt personal understanding and deep professional expertise to my therapy practice. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and am currently advancing my skills by working towards certification as a Play Therapist, ensuring I utilize effective, evidence-based approaches specifically tailored to your child's unique needs and personality.

I firmly believe in creating a therapeutic environment where children feel safe, genuinely heard, and fully understood. Building a trusting relationship is the cornerstone of my work. My approach is client-centered and draws from established modalities like CBT and Solution-Focused Therapy, often integrating play-based techniques to help children express themselves, develop crucial coping skills, build self-esteem, and ultimately thrive.
