Jolie Heggeseth, LMFT

I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families on all paths and stages of life. Some of my interest areas include: premarital counseling, anxiety, addiction, divorce, parenting, relationship issues, family conflicts, life transitions, parent-child conflicts, sexual identity, career counseling, and self-esteem. One of my “niche” areas is helping couples who are struggling with communication issues find new ways of understanding and relating to each other.

My goal is to meet people where they are in hopes of better understanding their desire for change and honoring the journey that led them to therapy. I focus on each person's strengths and resources while helping to expand restrictive self-narratives, incorporate new methods of interacting or coping, and build self-confidence.

I believe that people are generally doing the best that they can and that everyone has times when they could use a little more support. My goal is to provide a space where clients can feel comfortable and empowered in sharing their stories and needs.
