Cassidy Rill, LCSW
Hi, I’m Cassidy, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at A Healing Place. I work with individuals, couples, and families through a wide range of life’s challenges. While I enjoy working with clients facing many different concerns, I have a special appreciation for relationship-based work. Our closest relationships have a profound impact on nearly every aspect of our lives, and when those relationships become strained, it's common for other areas of life to feel more challenging as well.
Over the past ten years, I've worked in a variety of mental health settings supporting adolescents, adults, and their families. My experience includes inpatient behavioral health, developing and supervising community-based supportive apartment programs for adults living with persistent mental illness and substance use concerns, and providing outpatient therapy to individuals, families, and couples. I earned both my Bachelor's Degree in Human Services and Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, warm, and grounded. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and other evidence-based approaches to meet each client's unique needs. I don’t believe there is a singular approach to therapy, so we'll work together to find strategies that fit your goals and values.
Areas of Focus:
Relationship concerns and couples counseling, family conflict, anxiety and depression, grief and loss (including pet loss), life transitions, ADHD, mood disorders, self-esteem and identity concerns, communication and boundary setting, work-related stress and burnout, chronic illness, and the impact of physical health on mental well-being
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, navigating a difficult relationship, or simply looking to better understand yourself, therapy can provide the space to gain clarity and move forward feeling more capable of navigating life’s challenges. I strive to create an environment where you feel heard, respected, and supported while also being encouraged to make meaningful changes that align with the life you want to live.
Cassidy works with clients age 18-64
